Located about a 1.5 hour drive South of Manila, Tagaytay Ridge at 2,250 ft. above sea level, offers a panoramic view of Taal Volcano. Taal Volcano is considered to be the smallest & lowest volcano in the world. Sitting serenely on Taal Lake, the volcano offers a deceptive sight, considering the violent history of past eruptions. In Ripley’s Believe It or Not, it is described as “a lake within an island within a lake within an island”.

On the way to the ridge, drive by a picturesque countryside of coconut & pineapple plantations, fruit stalls & visit the famous Bamboo Organ of Las Piñas Church (the only one of its kind in the world) plus a local Jeepney Assembly plant.

A native refreshment/lunch will be served at a ridge top lodge overlooking the lake & the volcano.

Drive through the scenic countryside to the town of Talisay in Batangas. Upon arrival, board motorized outrigger to Taal Volcano Island 30 minutes away. Trek up to a wide expanse of black lava to the rim of the crater & view the awesome moon-like landscape. Visitors will have a close-up view of the caldera from the rim. Return to the a lakeside resort for a sumptuous lunch.
