Manila Chinese Connection (6 hrs): Alternative to the Makati segment, after the Intramuros visit with Casa Manila and the Chinese Museum, walk along the lively heart of Ongpin Street in Chinatown, to see the wet market in Carvajal. Then a drive to Binondo to visit the 54 hectare Chinese Cemetery with its unique structures.

Tagaytay Ridge Tour
Tagaytay Ridge Tour (5 hrs): Located about 2,5 hour drive South of Manila (40 kilometers), Tagaytay Ridge at 2,250 ft. above sea level offers a panoramic view of Lake Taal and the Volcano. Pagsanjan Gorge & Falls
Pagsanjan Gorge & Falls (8 hrs): The tour takes you south of Manila, to the old town of Pagsanjan. After lunch, transfer to a dug-out canoe for the trip to the falls. Your boatman rows you upstream where you can view lush greenery & towering cliffs. The first falls are 20 mins away. The second, main falls (another 25 mins further on, unreachable at high water).

Villa Escudero

Taal Volcano Crater Trek (8 hrs): Drive down the winding road to Talisay, Batangas. Board a motorized outrigger boat to Taal Volcano Island 30 minutes away. Trek up the soft black lava sand (or pay for a donkey ride) to the rim of the crater to view the caldera.
